We are 4th generation farmers in the Coolah/Cassilis district. After being totally burnt out by the Sir Ivan Fire in 2017 with only 60 hectares spared, we are virtually back to where we were and have totally repaired, rebuilt or replaced over 42km of fencing, pastures, stock, multiple sheds, most machinery, all tools, two sets of cattle yards, silos, pumps and other infrastructure. We have achieved all of this whilst experiencing the worst drought on record.
Over the years the record keeping required for a farming business has changed greatly. Gone are the days of taking the shoebox of receipts to the accountant. In 2021 we need to have access to up-to-date financial data in a format that is easy to interpret. Phoenix provides this in a program that specifically focuses on Agriculture. It is intuitive, current and it really helps us make informed financial decisions for our business.
