Perryvale Station, Dotswood Station, Peridot Farm

Perryvale is the most remote property in the Etheridge Shire and has been in the McDowall Family for well over 100 years. Ours is a family operated, thriving business that has come out of a 9 year drought on it’s feet.

Due to strategic development of water infrastructure, prompted by two heart-breaking droughts within 15 years, this latest dry season has been a trying but not devastating period to date.

Paperwork is the bane of my life. We cope with drought , floods, fires, injuries and breakdowns but the paperwork , regulations and anal demands from government bureaucracy cost us time and energy which we can ill afford.

I am still learning how to use Mapping efficiently but have been able to create reasonably professional maps to provide information to Government for various applications. Phoenix Financials are much more user friendly than my previous accounting program and the assistance provided by the Help desk is second to none.
